Even though this project is geared more towards school-aged kids (the picture above was done by a 1st grader), I think it can be adapted for preschoolers as well! I’m going to try it with my 3-year-old and my 1st grader. For my youngest, I will draw everything for her and then let her have at it with the oil pastels — she can decorate her little heart out! My son, I’m sure, will manage well on his own, and his little sister can look to him for inspiration!
