Teaching your kids about the letter C? Try this fun and super easy project — a Paper Chain Caterpillar! What better way to demonstrate the letter C than with a cute caterpillar?!

All you need to make a paper chain caterpillar is:

  • construction paper
  • scissors
  • tape/glue
  • wiggly eyes (optional)
  • black marker

Visit this  DLTK site for detailed instructions..

I love to see little hands working… here’s a cute pair of hands working on this very project:

My 3-year-old had no problem whatsoever making the loops and holding them steady so I could apply the tape — an excellent way to develop her fine motor skills!

Did I mention this project was fun?….

Enjoy!
